Maulana Abdul Awal, the candidate of Islami Andolan Bangladesh in the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) election, complained about the EVM and said that he had received a complaint through his polling agents that the vote was going for "boat" when pressed for "hand fan" on the EVM in a center of Ward No. 12, Khalishpur.

He told reporters today at 10 am in the center of Ward No. 12, Khalishpur about this problem of EVM.

Expressing optimism about the victory, this candidate of the Islamic Movement said, "If the voting is fair, we will win the election. And will accept any result."

The presiding officer of this center, Kingkor Biswas, told that there has been no such problem in his center since morning. The allegation made by the candidate of Islami Andolan Bangladesh is baseless.

EVM expert Biplap Goswami said that there are 10 EVMs here. No such problem has been found in any EVM so far. The EVMs that are malfunctioning are very few.

According to Kingkar Biswas, this accusation is false. Rather, the number of voters in his center has been extremely high since the morning. In the first hour, 112 votes were cast. In the second hour, 123 votes were counted. There are a total of 2 thousand 57 voters.
